Only Jesus Can Satisfy Your Soul
For only He can change your heart and make you whole.
I was unable to find the author of this wonderful hymn. If any of you know who wrote it, please tell me who it was. It expresses beautifully the truth I want to share with you.
The world will try to satisfy that longing in your soul. You may search the wide world over but you'll be just as before. You'll never find true satisfaction until you've found the Lord. For only Jesus can satisfy your soul.
ChorusOnly Jesus can satisfy your soul, and only He can change your heart and make you whole. He'll give you peace you never knew, sweet love and Heaven too, for only Jesus can satisfy your soul.
If you could have the fame and fortune, all the wealth you could obtain, yet you have not Christ within, your living here would be in vain. There'll come a time when death shall call you. Riches cannot help you then. So come to Jesus for only He can satisfy your soul.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
It takes power to become a child of God. Only Jesus has that power and only He can exercise it. When you invite Him into your heart He exercises that power and makes you a child of God. He makes your heart a suitable place for Him to live. He lives there, providing eternal life to you.
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
When the Bible speaks about our heart it is not speaking about the muscle in our chest that pumps blood around our bodies. It is talking about the nonmaterial part of us, the part of us that will exist forever after our bodies die. There are only two destinations for our hearts, Heaven or Hell.
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Only the God who created our hearts in the first place can purify them.
Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. 8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; 9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
That is a prayer. A saved person is one who has asked Jesus to come into his heart and save him. If you have never done that I encourage you to do it right now.
Eternal life, the life that lasts forever begins in us the moment Jesus comes into our hearts.
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
